New here?

Before diving in, it may be helpful to look at this week's Reading for the Collective, then come back here to learn how I approach the cards.

My Approach to The Tarot - An informal approach...

For me, Tarot is like a trusted friend. It does not judge, but it also does not sugarcoat the truth. I believe we get out of the Tarot what we put into it: our attention, our honesty, our willingness to listen, and our trust that even the uncomfortable messages are there to help us grow.

In 2017, I began a journey that started with the creation of my first Tarot deck, the Crow Tarot. Creating that deck opened the door to a new path in my life. It helped me uncover a deeper sense of purpose and built a connection that became a trusted way of reaching my higher self. I believe creating art can do that. It opens a doorway. Energy moves through us and into what we make, shaping it into something more than just an object.

Connecting with the energy of your deck is deeply personal. The time and intention you put into that relationship can turn a deck into a powerful tool for self-discovery. It begins by sitting with a card and asking yourself what it stirs in you. Can you relate to its message? Does it bring up a memory, a feeling, a color, or an image? Those first impressions matter. They are part of the quiet conversation between you and your inner knowing.
