The Wandering Witch Oracle

The Wandering Witch was born from the paths I walk each day — the woods near my home, the trips to the beach, and the long drives across farmland taking my daughter to and from school on San Juan Island — a place where mist, moss-covered trees, and wild creatures weave stories into the landscape.

The first thirteen cards draw inspiration from the traditional Witches' Runes, carrying forward their core ideas and symbolic threads, but seen through the lens of my own experiences.

The rest of the deck grew naturally from the island itself: shaped by what I see, feel, and photograph while wandering — ravens overhead, the hundreds of fawn lilies that seemed to spring up overnight, a boat disappearing into the fog.

The Wandering Witch is rooted in real places and real experiences — like the sting of being caught in a tightening thorny vine while I was walking the dogs one evening, and of course, my daily hangouts with Siobhan the silver fox — but also in the real magic that rises from moments of pure awe, the kind that reveals itself when you walk slowly enough to notice.

This pocket-sized deck of cards offers companionship more than instruction (although you will find guidance within the pages of this book), gently nudging you back to your instincts, wisdom, and the deeper rhythms of the world around you.
There's no need to rush or force the answers.
The magic is already underfoot.
